To use this product, do we have to use the RDS Payroll/Personnel software?
No. This can be used as a stand-alone module.

What benefits are there if we do use RDS Personnel software?
You'll have the advantage of synchronizing your Applicant Tracking database with your RDS Personnel software database.

What exactly is synchronized between RDS Applicant Tracking and RDS Personnel software?
Licenses, endorsements, ethnicity codes, degree codes, content areas and school settings are imported from RDS Personnel software, and applicant data is automatically duplicated in the RDS Personnel database upon completion of the application.

How long would it take to install, set up, and start using RDS Applicant Tracking?
If SQL Server is set up on your system, your web server is configured, and your information gathering is complete, installation takes no more than 15 minutes and setup normally takes one to two days.

What does setup involve?
Besides the actual software installation, application templates will need to be created. Users, security, jobs and codes (degrees, ethnicity, etc.) will also need to be defined. Additional questions and skills lists may also need to be defined.

Is there a limit to the number of jobs I can post?
An unlimited number of job types, such as Teacher, School Administrator, or Custodian, can be defined. Each job type may have an unlimited number of job postings associated to it.

How much training is required?
No training is required for most users, as the product is self-installable and includes documentaiton. However, outside consulting services are available and can be quoted separately.
